How time flys

We have been making the most of the wonderful weather.  And so glad of our log burner in the evenings. We are so lucky and thankful to have lived here for ten years.  It has flown by.

The plastic  collection is going great guns,  I am now going to devise a way of sorting it so make the collection more manageable, before it takes over the garden.

I manage to keep the garden under control and although sorry my gardener has gone I will always be thankful for the inspiration and hard work he put in to help it really take shape with existing structures.

Carrot seed coming along nicely and have sewn the next tray of seeds.  Really looking forward to spring to get going on my plans for next year.

My ‘silver’ mountain in the fridge (see previous blog) continues with some additions.  We now have tomatoes, carrots, leeks, celery, peppers and a couple of cucumbers for last minute additions to cheer up a coleslaw.

I have been going through extensive dental work recently and it is coming to the end.  We were recommended Dr. Lenia and she has been brilliant.  And I have been a very brave soldier!

A visit to the local hospice charity shop has added a couple of fresheners to my wardrobe.  They have lots of fab things in there with much of it looking brand new.   And all in a fantastic cause.

Having started driving again recently after a break of a couple of years I am really enjoying not having to ask Mr D every time I want to go any where.  I think is quite happy as well.

Fed up with the early start to Christmas and find the advertising is not helping people who cannot afford to splash out this year.

What a terrible state things have got into.  Let’s hope next year brings us all a better way of life.

Fingers crossed.

Chin up and more muses soon.  Thank you for reading.
