It’s Garden Playtime ….

Who remembers Bill and Ben with Little Weed?

Such innocence.  Well, that is how I see looking after my garden, and fun and exciting, but without their hats.   When a new bloom appears on a flower, looking forward to seeing how something turns out, planning what to do.

Especially this year after all the inspiration of last year with Gerald, the gardener.

I have been mentally planning the garden and making a bird bath and feeding station.

It was going to be from the mountain of plastic which was collected over one month from our house.  Unfortunately, everything I looked at on Google, and, trust me, there were a lot of ideas, did not fit in with my ideas.

I spotted one clip which showed a bird bath being made which left me with a plan.

Oh, really pleased now.

Two sets of redundant terra cotta plant pots, a stiff brush and some spray on acrylic paint.

Once painted, one upside down and the other on top with a few big stones to weight it.

An un-used casserole lid, sprayed on the underside, and place on top made the feeding station.

When I was at the nursery I got a plastic tray which is used for pots, which fitted well into the pot.

This will be the bird bath.  Just need to get some more paint to finish.  I may change them over to make the feeding station higher.

I am thrilled that we have already had some visitors.

Now, what’s next?

So much to do.

Have a lovely day and thanks for reading.
