Dentist, Days off, Coffee saga and pampering.

Tuesday saw me back at the dentist to continue my ongoing treatment.  Not as tough as the last time but still pretty nervous and a bit shaky all the same.  Next round next Thursday.  Is all I can say is thank goodness for face masks to hide behind while this is going on.

Maybe I will post a picture when it’s finished.

We had two whole days without anything in the diary.  Bliss.  Cooking and colouring was the order of Wednesday.

Thursday.

We have been having fun and games with coffee.  We have enjoyed Nescafé Gold Blend for ages, with no need to deviate from that.  Then suddenly, shock, horror and without warning, it changed.

Yuk.

After a bit of searching on the internet and wasting about €20 on various other coffees, we were none the wiser and in dire need of caffeine.

Clever Mr D had an epiphany moment.

We had a coffee machine on our wish list for age’s which kept being moved down to allow more pressing things in. (Like a funeral plan).

“Let’s solve this coffee problem by getting a coffee machine.”

Ok, here’s the plan.

1. Visit supermarket and suss out filter coffee and filters.

2. Go to our favourite electrical shop in Polis where the wonderful Ioanna is always on hand to help.

3. Get machine and head back to supermarket to buy said coffee and filters.

4. Come home, construct machine and make coffees.

5. Heaven

I feel like I need a bit of a boost.  Although we manage our “lockdown “ life very well, sometimes I just want to break out.

Today I am on a mission to go to Polis and do some running around at several locations.  Vets, doctors for flu jab, pet shop to order Daisy Dog’s tag for collar, chemist and then haircut, and some girly things which are long overdue.

Finally, on the way home, stop at DIY shop for replacement drawer handle and supermarket for bits and bobs.

Busy, busy bee. But I love it.

See you all soon.  Have a great day.
