Expecting Daisy’s ashes
We have been busy making a special place in the garden where we can scatter Daisy’s ashes which we are expecting to be returned to us today. The spot is where after scoring a ‘goal’ into the swimming pool with her beloved football, and zooming around the garden, she would have a quick dig, thinking we didn’t know what she was up to. We have also made her house into a place for her toys and bits and pieces. We could not bring ourselves to get rid of them. It would seem cruel. Daisy and our cats always had a love/niggled/ oh, OK then/live relationship. Much the same with Big Ted, who was a gift to me from my sister some years ago. I think their relationship was more “you keep to your space and I will patrol the rest”. It seemed to work. Big Ted wanted to look his very best for the occasion so borrowed a couple of things from Mr D - and looks very smart. It’s going to be tough, but hopefully will provide us with some comfort. Thanks for reading.
